Project Spotlight: Maintenance Shops

Project Spotlight: Maintenance Shops

Mar 3, 2025 | Project Spotlight

Baranko Companies is fortunate to house two maintenance shops, including a wash bay, that keep our projects and personnel moving. Thanks to our dedicated shop team, it is rare for any of our vehicles or heavy equipment to be out of commission for an extended period of time. This month, we want to recognize them for their hard work and contributions to our projects. Thank you all for being our problem solvers and working tirelessly behind the scenes to repair and maintain our vehicles.

Here are some highlights from the past year that showcase the team’s achievements:

  • Last year marked the inaugural launch of the shop internship program, which led to 2 talented individuals joining the team full-time.
  • A new pressure washer was added to the wash bay, making it easier and faster to clean equipment.
  • WS-030 Job: The team fully disassembled a wheel-scraper and sent the swing parts out for rebuilding. As a result, we now have essential parts readily available for future breakdowns.

  • ME-045 Job: The boom of ME-045 was completely overhauled, ensuring that Center Coal Company continues to operate efficiently.

THANK YOU to the guys who work 10-hour days, year-round, and somehow continue to show up every single day without complaining (or with minimal complaints 😉)Dave Harris, Zach Krivoruchka, Brad Schmidt, Mathew Baranko, Maksym Bunchukov, Ernest Burning, Kaden Cox, Jayden Decker, Frankie Flores, Trent Ford, Travas Genzler, Oleksii Halitskyi, Logan Hayden, Andrii Ivaniuk, Anthony Jasmann, Seth Kerzmann, AJ May, Mike Roller, Clayton Skager, Will Tickel, and Daniel Williamson
