In June, Baranko proudly launched its Service Recognition Awards, an initiative designed to honor and celebrate important milestones achieved by our employees. This program marks a significant moment in our commitment to acknowledging the dedication and hard work of every one of our team members.

How Did This Get Started?

The inception of the Service Recognition Awards began with a simple conversation between Glenn Baranko, President, and some of our tenured employees. While we recently implemented several benefits, such as incremental increases for both paid time off (PTO) and employer medical contributions, Glenn wanted to do more and expand our offerings. And so, what started as a conversation evolved into a series of productive meetings where the framework for these awards took shape.

The goal was clear: to create a comprehensive service recognition program that not only acknowledges employee loyalty but also improves the quality of our employees’ lives outside of work. This led to the introduction of several NEW benefits:

• CLOTHING ALLOWANCE: Every employee will receive an annual clothing allowance of $200 for their year of service. This allowance enables employees to celebrate their achievements by choosing something special for themselves or their loved ones.

NOTE: The $200 allowance can be used at the Baranko Online Store. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, fill out the Apparel/Item Request Form to suggest adding new items.

• VACATION REWARDS: Employees who complete five years of service will receive a tax-free $1,600 paid vacation of their choosing. After ten years of service, they will receive a $5,000 travel allowance. When using their vacation reward, employees are eligible for an extra 2 days (16 hours) of paid time off.
